(a) Why in your opinion is the female partner often blamed for such situations in India? Mention any two values that you as a biology student can promote to check this social evil.

(c) Suggest a technique that can help the couple to have a child where the problem is with the male partner.

(a) Illiteracy and unawareness about infertility causes are main reasons behind it. To check this social evil, people should be made aware of different causes of infertility in both men and women and should be given knowledge about various medical techniques available to overcome infertility issues.
(b) Ovulation disorder and damaged fallopian tube are responsible for the cause of infertility in females.
(c) Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a technique which is used to treat a defective sperm disorder like teratozoospermia which is characterized by the presence of sperm with abnormal morphology.
