Solution

The correct option is B 21,599,459
Total number of eggs produced in three year = Sum of the eggs produced in three individual years.

Total number of eggs produced =6,452,148+7,026,075+8,121,236

Aligning the digits of all the numbers according to their place value is depicted in figure below,

For adding these numbers we need to add the like terms i.e. digits at ones place will be added together, digits at tens place will be added together and so on.

So,

As, adding ones place digits we get "19 Ones".

But, 19 Ones =10 Ones +9 Ones.

10 Ones +9 Ones =1 Tens +9 Ones.

So, we will keep the digit 9 at Ones palce and give 1 as a carry to digit at Tens place.

Therefore,

Similarly we will do addition for all places as depicted in figure below,

So, 6,452,148+7,026,075+8,121,236=21,599,459.

Therefore, total eggs produced in these three years =21,599,459.
