Maximum scour depth=2×1.35(q2f)1/3

=2×1.35(8.221.01)1/3

=10.942 m

d = 10.942 - Tail~ water ~depth

=10.9423

=7.942 m

Length of apron = 1 to 1.5 times of d

d=7.942 to 11.913 m
