No. of days= $10-3$= $7$days

There is additional charges for each day .

Let the fixed charge be $x$ and the additional charges for each day be $y$

the charges for first 3 days is $x$

after which the charges for rest of the 7 days is $7y$

$\therefore$ Required linear equation which satisfies the data is

$x+7y=36$ .
