Let fixed charge for the first two days = x

and additional charge per day = y

Then x + 5y = 28……(i) and x + 7y = 32………..(ii)

Subtracting (i) from (ii), we have

2 y = 4 ⇒ y = 2

Therefore, charge for each extra day is Rs 2.
