The correct option is C 36.0 m
We know that area under velocity-time graph gives us total displacement.
Here the displacement is the vertical height, that he lift caries the passengers.
So area of the graph = (12×2×3.6)+(8×3.6)+(12×2×3.6)
A= 7.2+28.8=36
Hence the height is 36.0m
