A light ray of green colour is passed through a prism. Will it undergo dispersion?Explain.

No. As per Newton's theory, only white light constitutes seven colors. All others don't. If a ray of white light is incident on a prism, it will disperse and VIBGYOR will be obtained.

But, in this case, as Green light is incident, only green light will be refracted.
