The correct option is A 8.4 rad/s2
τ=r×F=Iα
5 Kg block rotates clockwise whereas 2kg will rotate anticlockwise
So,
12×5g12×2g=Iα

32g=Iα

I=mR2=5(12)2×2(12)2

I=74

32×9.8=74α

α=8.4rad/s2
