A light steel bar and a light iron bar are attracted to a magnet as shown. What will possibly happen when the magnet is removed?

Solution

As the steel and iron both are magnetic materials and behave like a temporary magnets in presence of an external magnetic field. As the magnet remove, the magnetic properties of both Iron and Steel will vanish. and they become separated.
