A line parallel to y axis then X2-X1=0 ..why???

Solution

For a line parallel to Y-axis, the x coordinates of the points on the line remains the same.Only y coordinate changes for the points on the line.
Therefore X2= X1 .
i,e, X2-X1 = 0
