Let Part 1 be 3x and Part 2 be 4x

Part 1 + Part 2 = 49 m

3x + 4x = 49

7x = 49

x = 497 = 7

Length of 1st Part = 7 × 3 = 21 m

Length of 2nd Part = 7 ×4 = 28 m
