Length AB = 18

PA = 6 cm and QA = 9cm

$∴$ PQ = QA - PA = 9 - 6 = 3 cm

QB = AB - AQ

QB = 18 - 9 = 9 cm

$∴$ PB = PQ + QB = 3 + 9 = 12 cm

The ratio PQ : PB = 3 : 12 = 1 : 4
