The correct option is A 32
Given that image of the object touches the object. It means one end of the object is at centre of curvature and also image is enlarged , that means orientation of object is towards focus only then we can get an enlarged image. (Details are as shown in the image below)




Let l be the length of image.

Magnification: m=l(f3)
l =mf3

From the above diagram
u=u+f3

Since the one end of the object is at centre of curvature we can say that, 2f=u

2f=u+f3

u=5f3

Now,
v=(u+l)

v=(u+f3+l)

v=(5f3+f3+mf3)

v=(6f+mf3)

Using mirror formula:

1v+1u=1f

36f+mf+35f=1f

36+m=25

12+2m=15

m=32

Hence, option (a) is the correct answer.
