When an unpolarized light is incident on a transparent medium at Brewster's angle then the reflected light is completely polarized and the refracted light is partially polarized but when we place a number of glass plates parallel to each other at Brewster's angle after successive refraction the refracted light can be plane polarized.

When unpolarized light incident on a medium containing microscopic suspended particles, then the incident light on these particles is scattered in different directions which is partially polarized.

Hence, option (D) is correct.
