The correct option is C
As the cylinder moves towards the circular ring, the flux increases. When a part of the cylinder is inside the loop, then the flux remains constant, and when the cylinder is completely moved out of the loop and is moving away from it, then the flux decreases with time. Option (b) and (c) fits well for the above description. However, the rate of change of flux has to be smooth; otherwise, the EMF induced will be infinity.
Therefore, the correct option is (c).
