Solution

The correct option is A 4.41×107 ms1
Magnetic field induction inside a solenoid is given by,

B=μ0nI

If the duration in which the field drops to zero after switching off is t, then the electric field induced at distance x inside the solenoid is given by,

E=x2dBdt=x2(μ0nI0)t=μ0xnI2t

Due to induced electric field, impulse on the electron in this duration is given as,

J=Ft=(qE)t=mv

v=qEtm

v=qm(μ0nIx2)=μ0nIxq2m

From the data given in the question,

v=4π×107×1000×2×0.2×1.6×10192×9.1×1031

v=4.41×107 ms 1

Hence, (A) is the correct answer.
