Given,
current in the loop (i)=2
magnetic field (B)=2T
Area of loop (A)=12×Base×Height
=12×PR×PQ=12×2×2=2m2
We know that,
magnetic torque (τ)=iABsinθ [Here, θ=90]
=2×2×2×sin90
=2×2×2×1=8 Nm.
