Since we have a need of only half page. So half area we have to calculate.

Half area = $\frac{l\times b}{2}$

$$\begin{gathered} =\frac{16\times 26}{2} \\ =208c{m}^2 \end{gathered}$$

Step 2: Finding the amount.

Since the charge for $1c{m}^2$ is $₹40$.

So, the total amount which the company has to pay

$$\begin{gathered} =40\times 208 \\ =8320₹ \end{gathered}$$

Hence, the total amount paid by the company is $8320₹$.
