A magnet attracts a piece of iron towards it. Is attraction also a pull? What about repulsion between similar poles of two magnets? Is it a pill or a push?

When a magnet attracts a piece of iron towards it, the piece of iron comes closer to the magnet. When anything moves towards something it is a pull. Repulsion means moving away from each other. When things move away from each other, it is a push. Therfore repulsion between similar poles of two magnets is a push.
