Solution

The correct option is B 5 μC
Given,

Resistance of coil, R=10 Ω

Number of turns, N = 1

ϕ1=5.5×104 Wb

ϕ2=5×104 Wb

Δt=0.1 sec

Change in flux, |Δϕ|=|ϕ2ϕ1|

|Δϕ|=|5×1045.5×104|=0.5×104

The charge flown through the circuit is given by,

q=ΔϕR=0.5×10410=5 μC

Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
Why this Question?
Note: To solve this question, we did not use the time interval 0.1 sec.

Instead we directly used the expression,

q=ΔϕR
