θ=300 deflection from the magnetic meridian

The horizontal required force ,

we know that, the magnetic meridian BH

BH=Bcosθ

B=BHcosθ=104cos300

B=1.1547×104T

From equation (1),

F=203×1.1547×104N

F=4×103N
