Solution

The correct option is B ₹ 1,10,000 profit.
The costprice of 400 m cloth is ₹ 50,000 and
the Selling price is ₹ 400 per metre.

Selling price of 400 m cloth is ₹ 400 x 400 i.e ₹ 1,60,000

Since, selling price is more than cost price he has got profit.

Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price
= ₹ 1,60,000 - 50,000
= ₹ 1,10,000
