A man bought fruits at the rate of ₹24 for 16 and sold them at the rate of ₹18 for 8. What is the profit percent?
50%
Given,
C.P. of 16 fruits = ₹24
S.P of 8 fruits = ₹18
∴, S.P of 16 fruits =18 × 2 = ₹36
Profit = S.P - C.P = 36 - 24 = ₹ 12
Profit%=Profit × 100C.P
∴Profit%=36−2424 × 100=50%
