Let the cost price and selling price of the mangoes be represented by CP and SP.
CP of 8 mangoes = Rs. 12
Therefore, CP of 1 mango = $\frac{12}{8}$ = Rs $\frac{3}{2}$
Also, SP of 12 mangoes = Rs. 8
Therefore, SP of 1 mango = $\frac{8}{12}$ = Rs $\frac{2}{3}$
