Given that he turned the spoon for 17 right angles. How many times did he move the spoon completely around the cup? Assume that the cup is circular in shape.

Given that the ice cream cup is circular in shape. A circle will be completed with 4 right angles.

The number of times he moved the spoon around = $\frac{17}{4}$ = 4 complete turns and one $\frac{1}{4}$ turn.
