No of days required to complete 58 of the job : 10 days
Let x be the days required to complete 1 full job.
10:58::x:1
We know that
Product of means = product of extremes
10×1=x×58
10×8=5x days
10×85=x days
16 days
Hence the the workers have to work for 1610 days = 6 days more to complete the job.
