The probability of not hitting in one shot =1110
If he fgires n shots, the probability of hitting at least once
=1(1110)n=1(910)n=12 (as given)

=0.301012(0.4771)=0.302010.9542=0.30100.0452=6.6 (nearly)
for 6 shots, the probability is about 53% for 7 shots it is nearly 48%.
