The correct option is C Rs. 52

Let the cost price of the article = Rs. x.

Then, S.P. at 12.5% Profit =100+12.5100×x=112.5x100

S.P. at 12.5% loss =10012.5100×x=87.5x100

According to the question, we have

112.5x10087.5x100=13
25x100=13

x=13×10025= Rs. 52
