We know : A man has 5 children. he has 25 pearls of different units. and wants to distribute it among his children. so that each receive an equal share.

So ,

To divide 25 pearls in 5 children as each child have equal share , He first divide all number of pearls by total number of children and check that there is any remainder left or not . If there is no remainder than the quotient is the number of pearl each child will have .

Or

If there is a remainder than man can't divide equal number of pearls in 5 children .

So ,

$\frac{Totalnumberofpearls}{Totalnumberofchilderen}=\frac{25}{5}=5$

There is no remainder , So

Each child will have 5 pearls . ( Ans )
