Solution

Given that,
Shares bought at Rs.140............(Let x)
Shares bought at Rs.125..........(Let y)
amount invested at 6%=140y
amount invested at 5%=125y
140x+125y=6750
0.6(140x)+0.05(125y)=280
8.4x+6.25y=280×20 Let (multiply 20)
168x+125y=5600
Subtract from (i) from (ii)
28x=1150
Then,
This values of negative so it is not possible.
