As per the question, the movements of the man are shown in the figure.

First the Man is facing west.

He turns ${45}^{\circ }$ clockwise. So, now he is facing in North-West direction.

Then he takes second turn of ${180}^{\circ }$ clockwise, which takes him to South-East direction.

And then he takes a turn of ${270}^{\circ }$ anti-clockwise, which is $180+90$.

So, after $180$ he faces NW and then ${90}^{\circ }$ takes him to South-West direction.

Hence, he finally faces towards South-West direction.
