Open in App
Solution

Dear student,The diseases follow an autosomal recessive pattern of inheritance. The man is heterozygous for Albinism and Sickle Cell Anameia, his genotype would be AaSs. The types of gametes he forms would be=AS, As, aS, as. Out of these only "as" contain genes for both diseases. "as" gametes constitute only 1/4 of the total. Regards.
