Let probability be $Rs.Y$

And no of sons be $x$

Share of daughter $=\frac{1}{4}\times y=Rs.\frac{y}{9}$

Share of each son $=2\times \frac{y}{9}=Rs\frac{2y}{9}$

$\frac{y}{9}+\frac{2y}{9}\times x=y$

$\Rightarrow \frac{1}{9}+\frac{2x}{9}=1$

$\Rightarrow \frac{2x}{9}=\frac{8}{9}$

$\Rightarrow x=4$

$\therefore$ no. of sons $=4$ Ans
