Initially,

Total number of boxes = 10
Number of oranges in each box = 8
Total number of oranges = 8 × 10
= 80 oranges

Number of oranges rotten
= 10
Now total number of oranges remaining
= 80 - 10
= 70

We can write
70 ÷ 10 = ?
as we know
70 = 7 × 10
70 ÷ 10 = 7
It means each box will now have 7 oranges.
