A man purchased two mobile phones at ₹ 9000 each. He sells one of the mobile phone at ₹ 10,000 and the other at ₹ 11,000. What is the total profit earned by him?

Profit earned on first mobile
= Amount received - Amount spent
= ₹ 10,000 - ₹ 9, 000
= ₹ 1,000
Profit earned on second mobile
= Amount received - Amount spent
= ₹ 11,000 - ₹ 9, 000 = ₹ 2,000
Total profit earned
=Profit earned on first mobile + profit earned on second mobile
= ₹ 1,000 + ₹ 2,000 = ₹ 3,000
