A man's monthly salary is Rs. 12000. His wife' monthly salary is 20% less then his. Find their total monthly income.

Man's Salary $= R s 12000$

Wife's Salary $= R s 12000 - 20$ % of $R s 12000 = R s 12000 - R s 2400 = R s 9600$

Thus, Their total income $= R s 12000 + R s 9600 = R s 21600$
