A man sells a saree for Rs. 2100 and makes a profit of 1623%. Find the cost price of the saree.

Given Profit in %=1623 and selling price S.P=Rs.2100
We know that, Cost price=S.P×100(100+profit%)
=S.P×100(100+503)
=2100×100(300+503)
=2100×300350
=2100×67
=300×6
Therefore, cost price =Rs.1800
