Gain of the article ( in percentage)=5

SP=5100CPCP=105100CP
SP=105100CP.
Loss in the article if he sold 63 rupees less
(in percentage)=2.
CP(SP63)CP×100=2
CPSP+63=2100CP.
CP105100CP2100CP=63
(11051002100)CP=63
(100107100)CP=63
CP=63×1007
CP=900
Thus cost price of the article = Rs 900.
