The correct option is C forward with acceleration
horizontal initial velocity of coin will be same as that of train, but if coin lands in front of him and he faces engine means train has traveled more distance than the coin. so train must be accelerating otherwise if train was with constant velocity then coin will come back to the boy, or moving backward with de-aceleration.
so correct answer is option C.
