Solution

Dear student,
Selling price of 500(Rs.20) shares at Rs.18 is Rs.(500×18)=Rs.9000Market price of Rs.10 share=Rs.15So, number of Rs.10 shares purchased=900015=600Annual income from original Rs.20 shares=Number of shares×rate of dividend×face value of one share=Rs.(500×8100×20}=Rs.800Annual income from new Rs.10 shares=Rs.(600×12100×10)=Rs.720Required change in annual income (less income) is=Rs.(800-720) less=Rs.80 less.Regards
