If x is the distance of $1^{s t}$ cliff to hear first echo then ;
$V = \frac{2 x}{2} \Rightarrow x = V = 330 m$
If (d-x) is the distance to hear $2^{n d}$ echo from $2^{n d}$ cliff then,
$V = \frac{2 (d - x)}{2 + 2} \Rightarrow (d - x) = 660 m$
Distance between two cliffs
$(d) = x + (d - x)$
$= 330 + 660$
$= 990 m$
