If x is the distance of 1st cliff to hear first echo then ;
V=2x2x=V=330m
If (d-x) is the distance to hear 2nd echo from 2nd cliff then,
V=2(dx)2+2(dx)=660m
Distance between two cliffs
(d)=x+(dx)
=330+660
=990m
