A man travelled a distance of $22$ km in one hour, partly in a car at a speed of $30$ km/hr and partly on a motorcycle at $18$ km/hr. Find the distance travelled by him in the car.

$l e t d i s t a n c e c o v e r e d b y c a r = x ∴ (\frac{x}{30}) + ((\frac{22 - x}{18})) = 1 (\frac{9 x + 15 (22 - x)}{270}) = 1 9 x + 330 - 15 x = 270 330 - 270 = 6 x ∴ (\frac{60}{6}) = 10 k m$
