A man travels 370km partly by train and partly by car. If he covers 250km by train and the rest by car, it takes him 4 hours. But, if he travels 130 km by train and the rest by car, he takes 18 minutes longer. Find the speed of the train and car respectively.

The correct option is B 100 km/hr, 80 km/hr
let speed of car be x and train is y in first part time taken to travel by train is 250/y and by car is 120/x . Total time taken is 250/y+120/x=4 .
In second part time by train is 130/y and by car is 240/x total time is 130/y+240/x=4.3.
Solving both equations gives y=100,x=80
Hence Option D is correct
