Let distance from home to station =D
When speed is 6, time =$\frac{D}{6}$
When speed is 7, time =$\frac{D}{7}$
According to the question,
$\frac{D}{6}-\frac{D}{7}=15minor\frac{15}{60}$
$\frac{D}{42}=\frac{15}{60}=\frac{1}{4}$
$D=\frac{42}{4}=10.5km$
