Solution

Dear student,

As the man is moving initially with speed of 5km/hr it will cover 2.5 km in 30 min i.e he will reach market
Time taken =Distancespeed=52.5 =12hr or 30mins

0 to 40 min = Distance travelled in first 30 min = 2.5 km Distance travelled in next 10 min =7.5 x 1060 = 1.25 km average speed for 40 min = Total distancetotal time = 3.75 km40 min =3.75 ×60 40 km/hr = 45/8 km/hr = 5.625 km/hr
