Solution

Dear student,

(i) Let C.P. of the cooler = Rs. xThen, (1 +8100)*x = 81002725*x = 8100x = 8100*2527 =Rs. 7500(ii) Amount paid by the costomer = (8500+(0.08*8500)) + 600 = Rs. 9780Tax paid by the customer = 8100*9780 = 782.4Tax received by the government = (782.4 + (8100 - 7500) +(0.08*8500)) = 782.4 +600 +680 =Rs. 2062.4(iii)Amount paid by the customer = Rs. 9780
