Time taken to travel $8 c m = 4$ hours.
$∴$ Time taken to travel $1 c m = \frac{4}{8}$ hours.
$∴$ Time taken to travel $5 c m = \frac{4}{8} \times 5 = \frac{5}{2}$ hours.
$= 21 / 2$ hours.
$= 2$ hours $30$ minutes.
