Question 2 (a)
Mark T if the statement is true and F if it is false:
We can obtain an enlarged and erect image by a convex mirror.
F. The statement is false.
Convex mirror is a curved mirror where the reflective surface bulges out towards the light source. Virtual, erect and diminished images are always formed with convex mirrors, irrespective of the distance between the object and the mirror. We cannot obtain an enlarged and erect image by a convex mirror. At the same time, concave mirrors can form enlarged images.
