A metal cylinder of base-radius 4 centimetres and height 10 centimetres is melted and recast into spheres of radius 2 centimetres. How many such spheres are got?

Base-radius of the cylinder = 4 cm

Height of the cylinder = 10 cm

Radius of the sphere = 2 cm

Volume of the cylinder = Base area × height

= π × (4 cm)2 × 10 cm

= 160π cm3
