Since,
eq. wt of metal $= \frac{w t o f m e t a l}{w t o f H_{2} g a s} \times 1.008$
Given,
volume of $H_{2} = 0.7 l$
since $22.4 l = 1 m o l = 2 g o f H_{2} ∴ 1 l = \frac{2}{22.4} ∴ 0.7 l = \frac{2}{22.4} \times 0.7 = 0.0625 g ∴$ from formula
$28 = \frac{w t o f m e t a l}{0.0625} \times 1.008$
$\Rightarrow$ wt of metal $= 1.736 g$
